FREEDOM

Freedom flies
After the darkness dies
Up from the caged words
That were left unheard
Freedom sings
Above the darkness' wings
With a voice that sighs
Singing to the darkness goodbye

Something releases
The hounds that are hunted
Running for their life
From the guns of the blind
That are pointed
With eyes of their own
All the while
The hunters take aim

Freedom flows
After the darkness goes
It bleeds freely through
The cut in my soul from you
Freedom flies
Above the darkest skies
It rescues the caged words
That were almost left unheard

Something changes
The direction of the hunted hounds
Running for their life
From the guns of the blind
That are pointed
With eyes of their own
All the while the hunter can't believe
The hounds got away.
