FUTURE

Climbing the day

To get into night

The star's eyes open

To scar with their sight

To their advent

We credit a bang

Are we achieving the balance

The yin and the yang

From the future we shiver

Because it has no shame

From the past we're delivered

To carry the blame

The future heals the ancient need

To fruition flowers from past breed

The future tells no lies

It's the past in a new disguise

For the future will paralyze

Through the future we'll realize

That it will come

Still it will come

Soon it will come

Yet it will come

Changing inflection

We dilate and flow

Toward a future direction

With a vengeance we go

With words we can travel

Like rockets in flight

We can shatter the barrier

At the speed of light

The blood that we shed

Is the blood that stains

The past a pulsing reminder

That more bleeding remains

The futures see the ancient need

To fruition flowers from past breed

The future's in heaven's skies

From the depths time will arise

For the future opens its eyes

Through the future we recognize

That it will come

Still it will come

Soon it will come

Yet it will come.
