The copies of Degas and Fragonard were executed at the Art Institute of Chicago in 1994; the copy of Vigee-Le Brun was executed at the Louvre in 1995. All three were later incorporated into other works by the artist. The original of each work, Hollingsworth's copy, and the completed art piece are shown below.

Separate pages are devoted to Hollingsworth's copy work at the Louvre and to the three installations which comprise the artist's Merging and Emerging exhibit, into which the latter two copy works were incorporated.
